Primary Sources

The following is a list of expert sources I encourage everyone to follow. It serves to highlight my most influential sources and share my personal biases. Furthermore, I follow plenty of other sources (recommended, supplemental, library), but would not consider them primary influences on my perspective.
Each grouping contains the brand/business, persons, and media channels that I personally follow just about daily. Included are the priorities with which each aligns most, my description of the grouping, and why I follow. List ordered alphabetically.

Barbell Medicine
Dr. Jordan Feigenbaum Dr. Austin Baraki Alan Thrall
Barbell Medicine typically focuses on general health outcomes for the general population. They are an excellent resource for all topics in training, nutrition, and concerns of daily life, such as pain and illness. Yet, they also coach and are themselves elite strength sport athletes. Drs. Feigenbaum and Baraki also co-authored the newly released compilation of health outcomes of strength training for UpToDate ("the doctor's Google").
Barbell Medicine is my primary source for general health considerations. Very few sources have achieved such a high level of education, progressed so far in training, share it all, and still keep their eyes buried in the research. There's no opinion I trust more to discuss peer-reviewed literature. Thrall provides excellent video content. His informtive lifting videos are my default suggestions because his presentation is always clear, descriptive, concise, and still entertaining.

The Body of Knowledge
Dr. Andy Galpin
Dr. Galpin is a leading researcher in the sports performance world. He's a tenured professor at California State University, conducting innovative research and redefining our understanding of muscle fibers.
Besides hosting his own podcast, Dr. Galpin is a frequent guest on others'. His talent as an educator truly shows as he speaks. I tend to favor his message because he challenges every assumption, forcing more thorough explanations and often coaxing a realization that the evidence we trust isn't as substantial as we believe.

Clinical Athlete
Dr. Quinn Henoch
Clinical Athlete is a vetted network of healthcare providers that understand physical training and athletic performance. Search your area for free.
Unfortunately, the physical therapy realm is flooded with ineffective, time-wasting "treatments." Knowing you're connected with a professional that comprehends the value of strength and prescribes it is priceless. Henoch frequently collaborates with Juggernaut for movement-related content.

gotROM
Shane Dowd
Dowd is your source for improved mobility. Before you begin, you'll notice strength lies at the core and is the final product. His products also align directly with the scientific principles of strength training -- specific goals, progressively overloaded, fatigue managed, etc.
There's no end to hacks selling nonsense about mobility and flexibility. Dowd is the only source I've found that truly details flexibility training programs, trained like any other skill. He also seeks to dispose of the garbage we've all heard -- "yoga makes you flexible," "never contract muscles while stretching," "always stretch before workouts."

humanOS
Dan Pardi
Dan Pardi is an expert on sleep and an active researcher in the field, specialized in circadian rhythms. His health-centric podcast unifies sleep with other topics by interviewing researchers from around the world about their recent work.
If you're free from distraction, I highly recommend humanOS Radio for densely packed information. Further, Pardi excels at sharing opposing/alternative possibilities and consolidating details into sensible advice with practical applications.

Dr. Jordan B. Peterson

Dr. Peterson holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology, was an assistant professor for Harvard University, and is currently a professor at the University of Toronto. He gained global recognition for his research (over 100 peer-reviewed papers and being cited over 8,000 times) and public speaking engagements on the Book of Genesis and his book, 12 Rules for Life. His private practice specialized in cognitive behavioral therapy for highly skilled, professional women struggling to design a successful and deserved career path.
Dr. Peterson echoes a message deeply important to my purpose. That message is simple, profound, and possibly painful to hear. Get yourself in order and set out to make progress. Think critically; no one ever is perfect. You could be better. Your life could be better. The lives you care about could be better. So put in the effort.

Juggernaut Training Systems
Chad Wesley Smith Max Aita Marisa Inda
Juggernaut is usually geared for experienced lifters and athletes, especially competitors. Regardless, their principle-based guidelines are relevant to all. They frequently host world-class athletes and coaches of all sports on their channels, breaking down fundamental concepts that consistently yielded success.
Juggernaut defines my outlook on training. The applicability of their methods is unmatched, inspiring nearly all of my training recommendations. The Scientific Principles of Strength Training was co-authored by Smith and Drs. Israetel and Hoffmann of Renaissance Periodization. Inda, client of Smith, carries the same responsibilities in life as everyone else, yet has achieved world record strength. She's the epitome of destroying circumstances and responsibilities veiled as excuses - female, 5'0" tall, over 40, mother of 2, full time job, small business owner, etc. Life is not an excuse.

Pain Science
Paul Ingraham
With web content nearing a word count of 2 million, Pain Science is your #1 source for aches, pains, and injuries. Most importantly, Ingraham keeps his content up-to-date with frequent edits and new research inclusions. There is no better resource for accurate, clear, and actionable information; and he still found time to make it humorous.
If you have any pain, especially if you don't know why, this is my only recommendation. To truly illuminate the influence of his work, Pain Science is by far the most advocated source by other sources on this list, regardless of topic. I swear I've heard everyone on my list reference Pain Science at some point.

Pre-Script
Dr. Jordan Shallow Dr. Jordan Jiunta
Both Jordan's are chiroprcactic doctors. Dr. Shallow was strength and conditioning coach of the Stanford rugby team and is competitive powerlifter. Dr. Jiunta was a CrossFit Games competitor.
Pre-Script brings a critical eye and incrdibly detailed knowledge to the discussion of human strength and movement.

Precision Nutrition
Dr. John Berardi
Dr. Berardi dedicated time to all facets of training, from bodybuilding to marathons. He's since built Precision Nutrition, a coaching service designed for everyday day people, professional athletes (such as the Carolina Panthers), special populations, and everyone in between.
I am a Precision Nutrition level 1 certified coach with plans to enroll in the Level 2 Master Class.

Renaissance Periodization
Dr. Mike Israetel Dr. James Hoffmann
Renaissance Periodization stands as the most robust source here: boasting 20+ PhDs, 7 RDs, professors, researchers, doctors, world champions, and sport coaches. Their expertise has assisted everyone from world-class athletes to thousands of everyday people.
The RP staff tends to be my favorite podcast guests, authors, and video creators. Likewise, the RP Diet Templates are my only nutrition recommendation, other than personal coaching (which they also offer).

RightSleep
Dr. Stasha Gominak
Dr. Gominak is a medical doctor specialized in neurophysiology. Her RightSleep Method improved the sleep of thousands via habits, vitamins, consistent lab testing, and preferably guided by a physician.
Given Dr. Gominak's emphasis on a link between vitamins in the gut microbiome and sleep, her hypothesis has been poorly received by the medical community. However, all three varibles are poorly researched by the medical community in the first place. There's no arguing that the protocol has worked for thousands of poeple. Besides, the risk is exceptionally miniscule -- low cost, low chance of harm, consistent lab work for verification, and guided by your physician.

Stronger by Science
Greg Nuckols Dr. Eric Trexler
Nuckols is currently earning his Master's in Exercise Science at UNC. He's set world records, coached record holders, and was Chief Content Director for Juggernaut.
Nuckols' assimilation of the physical training literature appears on par with the best (i.e. Dr. Galpin, Dr. Schoenfeld). Even better, he compiles staggering amounts of research into free, detailed articles. Lastly, he also hosts MASS, a deep-dive discussion of current reasearch and how to apply it.

Next is a list of influential sources that I consider highly knowledgeable. However, I do not consider them primary to my perspective. This distinction does not imply lesser quality, just influence. I recommend following everyone listed. Typically, conflicting opinions here are overruled by a primary source.
Each grouping contains the brand/business, persons, and media channels that I personally follow. Included are the priorities with which each aligns most, my description of the grouping, why I follow, and reasoning for exclusion as a primary source. List ordered from most to least influential, roughly.

Revive Stronger
Steve Hall Pascal Flor
Revive Stronger is a bodybuilding and powerlifting centric source dedicated to sharing the knowledge of the world's premier experts.
I highly recommend their podcast. They frequently feature experts, such as Drs. Israetel and Hoffmann of RP, Dan Pardi, 3DMJ, etc.

Revive Stronger is not a primary source per se, but is a platform that hosts primary sources.

Starting Strength
Mark Rippetoe Matt Reynolds Niki Sims
Ripptoe pioneered a full-body, anlytical approach to strength training with exercise form founded on biomechanical principles.
The Starting Strength approach is heavily criticised on the internet, but this is due to misinterpretation and poor application of the method. SS is very basic, allowing the program to be highly specific and easily applicable for every beginner.

Unfortunately, Starting Strength keeps to themselves and avoids differing opinions. They don't leave their circle; they don't bring outsiders into their circle.

Sigma Nutrition
Danny Lennon
Lennon holds a Master's in Nutritional Science. He seeks to provide the greatest resource for evidence-based nutriton, exercise, and performance.
Like Revive Stronger, Lennon hosts a platform for incredible experts to share their research and opinions. Sigma stands as a "who's who" in the nutrition world.

Sigma Nutrition is not a primary source per se, but is a platform that hosts primary sources.

Mind Pump
Sal Distefano Adam Schafer Justin Andrews Doug Egge
Mind Pump combines several decades worth of experience training folks of every background. In that time, they've seen every common struggle. Now, they aim to use their experience to kill the plague of marketing BS.
Mind Pump is excellent at stating their biases, hosting public QAs, and digging deep with experts. Guest interviews feature experts from every perspective they can find -- including many on this page.

Again, this is a platform to hear other sources. Also, their reviews of current literature is appreciated, but purely speculative. Researchers in the field will always have a more nuanced interpretation than a layperson.

DeFranco's Gym
Joe DeFranco
Joe DeFranco is known worldwide for training professional athletes to perform at the pinnacle of their sport inside his literal broom closet for a training facility.
I plan on earning his CPPS certification.

I have yet to take his coursework.

Art of Coaching
Brett Bartholomew
Coach Brett is the strength coach for the Kennesaw State University football team, personal trainer for NFL and combine athletes, and acknowledged as a premier educator on coaching others.
I plan on entering the Art of Coaching process.

I have yet to read the book or take the courses.

The Vertical Diet
Stan Efferding
Efferding has coached athletes of every caliber over the last 25 years, set world records in powerlifting, and earned his IFBB pro card.
Efferding is an incredibly knowledgable individual, having dedicated countless hours working side-by-side with every expert he can find (Poliquin, Mark Bell, Flex Wheeler). He's often criticized for "bro-science" nutrition, yet he's the nutritional coach of 4x World's Strongest Man Brian Shaw, Hafthor Bjornsson, and professional bodybuilders. Either way, he eloquently presents information in plain language anyone can follow and apply to their life immediately.

Much of Efferding's knowledge is applied through the art of coaching, although his approach is balanced with evidence.

PhDeadlift
Ben Pollack
Pollack is a doctoral candidate at the University of Texas and all-time record holding powerlifter, while crossing over to bodybuilding.
Pollack is another intelligent coach sharing content breaking down programming, similar to Juggernaut.

Pollack is a newer source for me.

5/3/1
Jim Wendler
Jim Wendler is the creator of possibly the most used training program ever: 5/3/1.
Wendler keeps to himself, currently coaching a high school football strength program to great success. However, he'll appear on EliteFTS Table Talk, sporadically sharing incredibly insight.

Despite its success, 5/3/1 has its flaws when applied to the average person and does not conform to common training diction.

Kabuki Strength
Chris Duffin Brandon Senn
Kabuki Strength is an innovative equipment manufacturer, providing strength and recovery equipment for NFL teams, collegiate weight rooms, private gym owners, etc.
Former aerospace and tech executive, Duffin is a worldclass powerlifter applying the insightful mindset of his old career into his current focus of human movement. He's genuinely a unique mental and physical agent in the industry.

Although Kabuki is truly a leader in both the art and science of coaching, innovations are new and still need to be tested by time.

Opex Fitness
James Fitzgerald Robbie Bourke
Opex dedicates their expertise to Crossfit, proper training, and coaching/gym ownership education. Their brand and affiliated gyms are recognized across the globe.
I primarily listen their podcast, where Robbie hosts Opex's leaders and worldclass experts.

Opex is not a primary source per se, but is a platform that hosts primary sources.

Wenning Strength
Matt Wenning
Wenning earned a Master's in Sport Biomechanics, trained elite athletes, and became a world record powerlifter with an injury-free career.
Wenning currently directs a significant amount of effort into training tactical populations. His methods have saved individual stations millions of dollars and retained the health of countless first-responders. His strength and conditioning based approach emphasizes fatigue management, backed by data to prove its validity.

Wenning's all-inclusive service is available to police stations, fire departments, etc. to purchase, with specific requirements, such as specialized equipment. (He's still a valuable resource for individuals working in this realm.)

The Strength Athlete
Bryce Lewis
Lewis is a record-holding powerlifter and coach, and client of Eric Helms.
TSA's collective expertise rivals Juggernaut, RTS, and others.

TSA specializes in powerlifting.

Calgary Barbell
Bryce Krawczyk
Bryce holds two world records, three Canadian powerlifting champoionships, and a Personal Training diploma from Mount Royal University.
Bryce's form check videos are quite useful for identifying common technique struggles -- slight to severe -- through a wide array of body types and learning common adjustments, tips, and order of importance.

No attempt to be a major source, Bryce is just a great coach and secondary source.

Jym
Dr. Jim Stoppani
Dr. Stoppani earned his PhD in Exercise Physiology and continued his research as postdoctural fellow at Yale School of Medicine.
I follow Dr. Stoppani for his nutrition and supplement information. He spent years as a powerful voice calling-out the deceptive, underdosed, and unsafe products in the supplement industry. Then, the launch of his Jym products (first to be third-party tested) upended many big names brands, leading to safer products and better dosing practices.

Unfortunately, Dr. Stoppani stays within his Jym circle. I must throw a red flag on an apparent contradiction that both a highly educated and socially active source somehow references no other experts and is referenced by no other experts.

Juji and Tom
Jon Call Tom Boyden
Jujimufu is a content creator, acrobat, and bodybuilder. Tom is a tricking enthusiast and content creator.
Juji and Tom spend their time creating a lifestyle out of movement. The duo frequently mocks the extreme detailed analytical topics that spark internet battles instead of encouraging actual training. Juji has built and maintained an elite combination of flexibility, performance, strength, and size.

They're just a comedic source as a reminder to calm down, live your life, and enjoy physical activity.

High Intensity Health
Mike Mutzel
Muztel holds a Master's in Human Nutrition and hosts a podcast with leading researchers on the forefront of new frontiers in nutrition and similar topics.
Mutzel is an educated and deeply passionate source monitoring all the latest findings in nutrition and health. However, podcast guests are frequently deep-rooted in fringe topics that currently lack the robust evidence and support that comes with time.

It's great to know the most up to date research and speculate about the future. Unfortunately, it's simply unapplicable at the current time.

3D Muscle Journey
Dr. Eric Helms
3DMJ is a world-class natural bodybuilding resource. Dr. Helms earned his PhD in Strength and Conditioning, Master's in Exercise Science, second Master's in Sports Nutrition, and is currently a research fellow at Auckland University of Technology's Sports Performance Research Institute. He also co-hosts the Iron Culture podcast with Omar Isuf and contributes to MASS.
Dr. helms is an incredible source of information and displays it through bodybuilding elite.

With bodybuilding a lesser focus of mine, I have yet to absorb enough from 3DMJ.

Reactive Training Systems
Mike Tuchscherer
RTS is a world-class powerlifting resource, with Mike T. once holding world titles himself.
RTS hosts extensive training and tracking tools, classrooms, and coaching services. Mike provides exceptional acumen for stress management and strength training.

Unfortunately, Mike's analyses are of course limited to RTS and not equivalent to peer-reviewed research.

Look Great Naked
Dr. Brad Schoenfeld
Dr. Schoenfeld serves as director of the human performance laboratory at Lehman College and an active researcher in the field.
"The Godfather of Hypertrophy" - Dr. Schoenfeld - is definitively considered by all to be the world's foremeost expert on muscle hypertrophy. His lab conducts top-notch research; and he shares it all -- the data, publication, and his interpretation with potential application.

Dr. Schoenfeld does not appear as a primary source because I simply haven't consumed enough of his content.

Biolayne
Dr. Layne Norton Holly Baxter
Dr. Norton earned a PhD in Nutritional Sciences, bodybuilding pro card, and world/national records in powerlifting.
Dr. Norton is a necessity in today's world of selling health topics attached to people's identity. He's a loud, passionate voice directly calling-out leading promotors of common trends and buzzwords. His challenge is actually quite simple: articulate an evidence-based defense and admit where evidence fails to meet claims.

Dr. Norton does not appear as a primary source because I simply haven't consumed enough of his content.

Hypertrophy Coach
Joe Bennett
Bennett stands as one of the few and best bodybuilding sources out there sharing premium, detailed hypertrophy training advice.
Bennett's keen perception, diction, and intellect matches other favorites, like Mike Tuchscherer and Jordan Shallow.

Unfortunately, I haven't listened to much from him yet; and advanced bodybuilding isn't a particular interest.

Calisthenic Movement
Alex Lorenz Sven Kohl
CaliMove is an excellent resource for calisthenic movement and flexibility/mobility.
The duo provides concise and accurate video instruction for learning to move and strengthen your body.

Unfortunately, they don't discuss progression and fatigue management timelines.

EliteFTS
Dave Tate
Dave Tate is a titan in the powerlifting world as a lifter, coach, and equipment manufacturer.
EliteFTS hosts an unending number of the world's best coaches and lifters. Dave shares unmatched experience and education on training and the business of training.

EliteFTS specializes in powerlifting.

Hybrid Performance Method
Dr. Stefi Cohen Hayden Bowe Ian Kaplan
Dr. Cohen holds a doctorate in physical therapy, multiple world records in powerlifting, and formerly played soccer for the Venezuelan national team.
I follow Dr. Cohen for her ability to ignore and defeat any stigma pinged against her.

Dr. Cohen is a new, evolving force in the community.

Strength Sensei
Charles Poliquin
Poliquin was a world renowned strength coach. He coached two dozen Olympic medalists, 800+ Olympians, and athletes in every major sport. With a master's degree and about 4 decades of experience, he also maintained a firm grasp on peer-reveiwed literature, even learning several languages to keep up to date around the globe.
As a collosal figure with firm beliefs, he was controversial and scritunized. I figure his status and coaching results are inarguable. The disputes of his methods are always on details isolated from his holistic coaching. His basic principles typically align with everyone else. Then again, sometimes the application of his expertise resembled wizardry.

There is no applicable value within magic revelations, such as unvalidated health marker claims and selective nutrition benefits. Value should be extracted from principles.

Back Fit Pro
Dr. Stuart McGill
According to most, Dr. McGill is the world's leading expert on back pain, preventing and correcting.
Back pain reigns as the #1 source of pain for Americans. Dr. McGill's methods may just fix your pain. He may outweight Pain Science on this specific topic.

Sadly, unified methods and individualized adjustments don't mesh with the scientific method.

NEVERSate Athletics
Brian Alsruhe
Alsruhe is a competitive strongman, coach, gym owner, content creator, and former Counter Terrorism specialist for the US Department of Defense.
Despite record-holding strength, a gym hosting multiple state champion and national level competitors, and training with 4x World's Strongest Man Brian Shaw -- Alsruhe is the most humble and thankful person alive. He offers personalized, in-depth online programming catered to fit you, your time, your gym, and the equipment available. Like Mark Bell, Alsruhe keeps a straightforward presentation for anyone to follow immediately.

Alsruhe is not here for scientific insight, but for turning trivial inspiration into steady dedication.

Kizen Training
Omar Isuf Mike Farr Bart Kwan
The trio comprises experienced YouTube content creators in the fitness realm, focused on powerlifting and exposing industry nonsense. Together as Kizen, they create weight training templates, collaborate with industry experts, and offer coaching.
Currently, Isuf offers another great platform to interview expert sources. Farr represents how to increase focus on improving your lifestyle while maintaining physical activity and long-term goals. Kwan shows how to own a gym, a clothing company, and meet training goals, all while dedicating time to recently becoming a father.

Kizen offers a platform for experts and are examples of following such advice, but are not exactly primary sources.

C.H.E.K Institute
Paul Chek
Chek teaches a truly holistic approach to health, having refined his perspective with ver 30 years of experience.
Chek's vision certainly influencess my own, despite being the most controversial figure on this page. The five priorities are undeniably my attempt at uncovering a holistic approach to health.

Holism is 100% required to be individualized. Unfortunately, separating the individual from the average means there's no room for empirical data. Even worse, it's impossible to distinguish hippie nonsense from personal development advice.

Slingshot
Mark Bell
Bell is a world record powerlifter, equipment inventor, and self-proclaimed "The People's Coach."
I follow Bell for his plain language and work ethic. He never claims intimate knowledge of nutrition science, biomechanics, or even programming. Instead, he admits he's just a guy with a lot of experience and effort; but it's taken him to the top of his sport and sparked a succesfful business. He also provides another podium for experts to discuss their perspective.

Not here for any particular insight, just basic advice and hard work.

132 Pounds of Power
Jen Thompson
Thompson is a world record powerlifter, mother, and high school math teacher.
Thompson clearly stands as the greatest female bench presser of all time and among the strongest women alive, even appearing on Chad Wesley Smith's "Mount Rushmore of Powerlifting" (video).

As a busy mother and teacher, there isn't much time for sharing content.

Strength Camp
Elliott Hulse
Former D1 football player to competitive strongman to spiritual leader.
Hulse's journey, shared across his YouTube career, has received relentless criticism. Having drawn immense inspiration from Paul Chek, he's gradually remodeled his persona from aggressive extrovert to self-reflective mentor. Many have attacked his hippie-esque transformation, but they've simply failed to understand value of mental and spiritual health.

Again, you just can't quantify spiritual improvement.

Supplemental Resources

Next, I have a list of supportive resources. This includes phone apps, educational services, physical products, podcasts, and more. The Educational segment combines learning options, such as online classrooms and research reviews. The Products section contains a list potentially helpful aids to your health, such as tracking apps and lifting equipment. The Services section is a list of online professional assistance, such as counseling and medical care. Lastly the Other column is a hodgepodge of the remainder that I couldn't fit into another section, but must recommend.
Each grouping contains the brand/product/service/etc., the priorities with which each aligns most, description, and explanation of why I do/would use. List first separated by type: Educational, Products, Services, and Other. Lists then ordered by my likelihood to use and my opinion of effectiveness, roughly.

Education

The Great Courses
The Great Courses is collection of college lectures produced and taught by college professors.
This is a premium service to further your education in any and all areas.

Stronger Experts
Stronger Experts is an alliance and rotation of 20 experts (including many I've listed above) educating fellow coaches, trainers, and athletes with presentations, live QAs, and interviews.
This is an excellent service to further your education.

Discovering Personality
Dr. Peterson has consolidated his knowledge of personality into an eight-lecture course.
I will be enrolling soon.

Monthly Applications in Strength Sport
Hosted by Greg Knuckols, MASS is a compilation of research reviews of recent published studies. Experts, like Knuckols and Dr. Eric Helms, breakdown the technical language and data into practcal advice.
I don't trust any lay-person's interpretation of reserach; but here are several experts analyzing and explaining the nuances.

Reactive Training Systems Classroom
Again, multiple experts join forces to educate, this time with Mike Tuchscherer. Classes include presentations, Facebook group, and even homework assignments often center aronund training principles.
I plan to enroll in the micro- and meso- cycle classes.

Examine
Examine.com aggregates virtually all peer-reviewed research into single topic comprehensive guides.
Before buying any supplements, reference Examine.com for efficacy, dosage, and any general information.

Products

Understand Myself
Dr. Peterson has taken the Big 5 Personality test and aggragated thousands of responses. Rather than a number score, you'll receive your results as a percentile -- your results relative to others based on powerful statistical data. Based on yor specific results, you're given a detailed breakdown of your position, strengths weaknesses, potential actions, and commonalities/differences with others.
I found this test to be the greatest example of the Big 5. Most importantly, it's surprisingly useful.

Self-Authoring
Dr. Peterson and colleages lanuched this self-therapy in 2005. You'll apply critical thought to get your life in order. Implementing this tool has decreased high school dropout rates by 25% and increased GPA by 20% (i.e. people got their life in order).
I'm currently working through the suite and have already made positive changes. Heed this warning: the introspection required will examine deeper than expected.

General Leathercraft
General Leathercraft handmake top notch lifting equipment, such as belts and straps.
Although not necessary for all, a proper lifting belt will eventually be recommended. Their patented pioneer cut belts reign supreme for quality and ease of use.

BrainFM
BrainFM is a research-backed artifical intelligence that composes music calibrated to alter brain waves to promote a desired mental state. Listening to BrainFM can help you focus, relax, or sleep.
I use BrainFM every night to improve my sleep and sometimes to focus on this website.

SleepScore
SleepScore is another sleep centric app. It brilliantly utilizes your phones capabilities to track your sleep. Then, it gathers that data into several key variables, calculates a score, identifies issues/successes, and recommends improvements.
If I wasn't using BrainFM, I'd use this; and I recommend you pick one, too.

Services

BetterHelp
With affordability and availability as primary directives, BetterHelp is the largest online counseling platform, with over 2,000 therapists.
BetterHelp is my 1st recommendation for stress management help.

Acorns
Acorns is a simple investment app that allows you to spare a little extra into real investment portfolios and retirement funds.
Everyone should diversify their money management and save for the future. Acorns runs in the background, investing your money in one of their expert-guided portfolios.

Stash
Stash is another easy investment app that turns your small savings into building your own investment portfolio and retirement fund.
Everyone should diversify their money management and save for the future. Stash is interactive, allowing you to select which companies deserve your investment.

Other

StarTalk
Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson
A fusion of science, pop culture, and commedy -- StarTalk features the world's premier experts, celebrities, researchers, and everyone in between.
Over two dozen podcasts I listen to daily, here's my favorite and most recommended. I'm constantly challenged with new perspectives and monumental realizations.

You Are Not So Smart
David McRaney
You Are Not So Smart is a podcast (preceeded by a book preceeded by a blog, each of the same name) that discusses all the ways our mind fools us into believing we're right and the psychology research that shows we're probably wrong.
These episodes are excellent for uncovering your own biases, identifying others', and just learning why you/others might think a certain way.

Library

Lastly, here's my library of books, ebooks, etc. that have influenced my perspective.
Each grouping contains the title, author, the priorities with which each aligns most, and a link to purchase. List ordered by influence on my perspective, roughly.
